Year 2 university project.
Life+ aimed to achieve a successful residential design based around the idea of community and connection. A design capable of bringing different people together and forming its own self sustaining living community, balancing privacy in the living units with the social aspects of the plaza and communal spaces.
The project includes 1, 2 and 3 bed living units. These living units are raised above a plaza and communal area that involves shops, resturaunts and a garden which was neccesary due to the lack of existing shops, resturaunts and other essentials in the area. In addition, communal ‘hangout spaces’ and gardening space occupies the roof.
